It's day 2 (for us) of the fall festival giveaway; our giveaway started Tuesday, so we are a day behind Vicki. Remember to come back every day and comment for your chance to win! It's so much fun to read all the comments and check out the other blogs that have linked to Vicki's giveaway!
Today's giveaway is the set of 6 small leaf screens shown above. Each image is approximately 3.5 x 2 inches. The paper images were left under the screens so you can see the designs - the paper is pulled off before printing. The screen edges are taped so they are ready to use. Included with the screens will be some basic instructions for printing, in case you've never tried it before. Any textile paint can be used; brands we use include Jacquard, Simple Screen by Plaid, Speedball FABRIC Screen Printing Ink, Versatex, Profab by ProChem, Stewart Gill, and even craft store acrylics that are made for fabric. Some of these can be found at hobby stores such as Michaels, AC Moore, & Hobby Lobby; others are available at online sources like Dharma Trading and ProChemical and Dye. For printing designs this size, an expired credit card makes a perfect squeegee. Here are some samples so you can see what the screens look like when printed.
For your chance to win this set of screens, leave a comment telling us your favorite thing about fall. And if you don't like fall, what is your favorite season?
Winners will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 21. Good luck!
